It is the goal of Sonoma Ballet Conservatory to nurture the spirit of each student through the discipline of dance so that each will realize the fullness of their potential, power, freedom, and self-expression and will respect the same in others.

SBC trains artists, some of whom may become professional dancers, all of whom will make a place for art in their lives. SBC’s definition of an artist is someone who—with all their actions and words—builds up the human spirit, is generous, shows empathy and is respectful to everyone whom they encounter.
